Ha sido becada por la Fundaci\u00f3n Antonio Gala (C\u00f3rdoba), la Fundaci\u00f3n Friedrich Ebert (Berlin) y la Fundaci\u00f3n Faberllull (Olot). Su obra ha sido premiada con el Premio Crea Sevilla (2022) y el premio de Arte Emergente &#8220;Neustart Kultur&#8221; por la Fundaci\u00f3n Kunstfonds. En la actualidad es doctoranda en la HfBK de Hamburgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Johanna Failer entiende el acto de pintar como una forma de traducir la realidad; de extraer un mundo paralelo de la avalancha de im\u00e1genes con las que nos vemos bombardeados a diario. Su pintura se inspira en la vida contempor\u00e1nea, la arquitectura y la literatura.
